The Los Angeles Dodgers have launched a struggling veteran utility man.
On Tuesday, they launched infielder Kevin Padlo from his minor league contract.
Padlo, 27, has struggled within the minor leagues after a powerful spring coaching. In 47 video games at Triple-A this season, Padlo slashed .216/.340/.380 with six residence runs and 29 RBIs.
Padlo is a journeyman infielder who was drafted within the fifth spherical of the 2014 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies. He made his MLB debut in 2021, and bounced across the league, taking part in with the Tampa Bay Rays, Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Los Angeles Angels.
Padlo has appeared in simply 26 video games on the MLB stage in his profession, and is slashing .111/.158/.167 with three doubles, three RBIs, and an OPS of .325.
In his Triple-A profession, he’s slashing .247/.347/.451 with 60 residence runs and 215 RBIs in 356 video games.
Whereas Padlo was launched, outfielder Ryan Ward is now again with Triple-A Oklahoma Metropolis after spending three weeks on the injured record.
