Indiana’s main scorer, Yarden Garzon, will enter the switch portal, in line with a number of studies on Monday morning.
In keeping with the studies, Garzon is listed as a “don’t contact” within the portal.
A local of Ra’anana, Israel, the 6-foot-3 guard was a second-team All-Large Ten honoree as a junior.
Garzon began all 97 video games she appeared in during the last three seasons for the Hoosiers and owns profession averages of 12.4 factors, 5.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 31 minutes per sport.
She made 220 3-pointers over her three-year profession for the Hoosiers, a college report.
Garzon’s freshman season, the 2022-23 marketing campaign, was her best as a fringe shooter. She averaged 11.1 factors, 5.3 rebounds and three assists in 29.9 minutes per sport. Garzon was 70-for-153 from distance that season, good for 45.8 %.
As a sophomore, Garzon’s scoring common grew barely to 11.7 factors per sport. She was 62-for-147 on 3s (42.2 %) and likewise averaged 4.4 rebounds and three.1 assists in 29.5 minutes per sport.
Her most efficient statistical season got here as a junior when she averaged 14.4 factors, 5.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.3 steals in 33.5 minutes per sport. Garzon related on 88 3-pointers and shot 40.7 % from distance.
She set a career-high with 35 factors in a pivotal 73-70 highway win at Washington on January 27. For her profession, Garzon is a 42.6 % 3-point shooter and is 126-for-154 (81.8 %) from the free-throw line.
Garzon has one season of eligibility remaining. She is the sixth IU girls’s participant to enter the switch portal this spring, becoming a member of Lilly Meister, Lexus Bargesser, Julianna LaMendola, Henna Sandvik and Sharnecce Currie-Jelks.
