ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — JR Motorsports rookies Carson Kvapil and Connor Zilisch confirmed no indicators of intimidation Friday afternoon because the duo turned the 2 quickest follow laps in NASCAR Xfinity Sequence follow at Rockingham Speedway.
Kvapil, driving the No. 1 Chevrolet, turned a lap of twenty-two.899 seconds at 147.779 mph on the .94-mile race observe because the sequence returned to the observe for the primary time since 2004.
Kvapil’s teammate Zilisch was a tick slower with a lap of 23.052 seconds.
Sheldon Creed was third fast in a Haas Ford, whereas Ward Burton was fourth and Jesse Love fifth, each in Chevrolets.
Sequence champion Justin Allgaier was sixth in one other JR Motorsports Chevrolet.
