The NBA may revisit its timeline for enlargement groups following the sale of the Boston Celtics for $6.1 billion on Thursday, in keeping with Shams Charania of ESPN.
It was reported that the league was on the lookout for the Celtics to promote for across the $6 billion mark to determine a baseline charge for enlargement groups.
Bids for the Celtics previous to Thursday’s sale had been coming in below $6 billion.
It may take 3-5 years from the beginning of the enlargement course of for a workforce to make its debut on the courtroom.
