World no.2 Novak Djokovic acquired a free cross into the Wimbledon semifinals on Wednesday when his quarterfinal opponent, Alex de Minaur, withdrew with a hip damage.
The Australian introduced he was pulling out of the match hours earlier than he and Djokovic had been scheduled to play one another at Centre Court docket.
Novak will face both Taylor Fritz (USA, 13) or Lorenzo Musetti (ITA, 25) on Friday.
