Scottie Barnes and the Toronto Raptors have agreed to a five-year most contract price as much as $270 million if he qualifies for the Rose rule with an All-NBA choice in the course of the 24-25 season. The Rose rule permits gamers signing a chosen rookie extension to obtain 30 % of the cap in 12 months 1. If Barnes does not qualify, his five-year max shall be price roughly $225 million over 5 seasons.

Barnes received Rookie of the 12 months in 2022 and was named to his first All-Star crew in 2022.
Barnes completed the 23-24 season averaging 19.9 factors, 8.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks in 34.9 minutes over 60 video games.
